In about a month, we will be convening in Bloomington for our charrette. To help advance our dialogue as much as possible beforehand, we are asking participants to send us some of their favorite, most insightful essays and book chapters so we can share them with everyone. (Send them to David Bollier at david /at/ bollier.org.)
Here are two sets of early-bird recommendations — from Peter Scupelli and Ravi Murugesan. Peter is Associate Professor in Design, Chair of the Environments Track, and Director of the Learning Environments Lab in the School of Design at Carnegie Mellon University. Peter’s training and career path link architecture, interaction design, and human-computer interaction research.
Ravi works with international non-profit INASP and its AuthorAID project, using his expertise with Moodle to deliver educational courses. Ravi is also the owner of Wide Learning, an educational technology service provider based in Mumbai.
